In 2026, Nai moved into Rotax Senior. The objective was never to arrive finished. It was to start building the driver required for what comes next.

Rotax brings a completely different relationship with the kart. Every session starts before the engine fires: chassis balance, gearing, tyre condition, pressures, carburation, temperatures and the small mechanical details that decide whether the kart gives the driver confidence or asks him to fight it.
Nai now races a Tony Kart OTK 401T with a Rotax MAX Senior EVO. The kart is no longer simply the tool he is given. It is part of the work.
SPEED IS ONLY
THE FIRST LAYER.
The transition exposed a new set of questions. How does the kart change through a run? What does the data say compared with what the driver feels? When is the setup wrong, and when does the driver simply need to adapt?
That is the work behind 2026. Not just finding one fast lap, but learning how to build a weekend: practice, qualifying, heats, finals, changing grip, changing weather and changing pressure.
The first season has already brought a race win. More important is what sits underneath it — better preparation, clearer feedback and a growing understanding of how to make speed repeatable.

The next step also required a stronger environment around Nai. With SLR Racing, the programme gains experience, technical direction and a team structure built around driver development.
The goal is not to remove the difficult parts. It is to make sure every difficult part produces something useful: better preparation, better decisions, better feedback and a clearer path into the next race weekend.
